- Heavy cream – 1 cup (240ml)
- Butter – 2 tbsp (optional, for extra shine)

1. Start by preheating your oven to a cozy 175°C (350°F) and greasing three 8-inch round cake pans. Don’t forget to line them with parchment paper for easy removal!
2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Give it a good mix so everything's combined nicely.
